February 2017 – High-Stake Sports Betting Tips
Greyhound Racing – 3rd Feb
10.01 Romford – WILLY WHITESOCKS – T4
- 3 Points win @ 5/2 (Bet365, PP & Betfair-BOG)
Willy Whitesocks looks the likely race leader and once on the bunny, he will prove hard to peg back. As ever the key to the race will be the break and run into the first corner, ping out in best fashion and our selection should make all.
Take the 5/2 on offer, Willy Whitesocks is likely to be a little shorter on track tonight.
Horse Racing – 11th Feb
- Ballyandy 2 Points Each-Way @ 9/2 (Betfair Sportsbook) ¼ odds 4 places
Trainer Nigel Twiston-Davies must have felt like kissing the handicapper when he saw Ballyandy had been rated just 135 over hurdles, and the 2016 Cheltenham Bumper winner should be capable of taking the Betfair Hurdle on route to better things. Okay, he’s yet to win over hurdles, but his form in defeat looks top-class against the likes of Messire Des Obeaux and Moon Racer. He should also relish the return to Newbury in a big-field and, though he may prove better over further in the future, the Betfair Hurdle has been won by plenty of stayers in recent years including Zarkandar, Agrapart and Get Me Out Of Here.
Horse Racing – 16th Feb
3.20 Lingfield Critical Thinking
- 1pt Win 6/1 Bet 365
Did not get the best of runs in a maiden over course and distance and he looks nicely in and his apprentice who takes off a further 7lb got on well with the horse previously over a trip too short.
Horse Racing – 27th Feb
4.25 Wolverhampton, Raven’s Quest
- 14/1 1pt e/w Generally (again, except Betfred and Totesport who go 12/1)
Raven’s Quest was third of nine beaten 0.5 lengths at 66/1 here in January over course and distance. That was off 2LB higher than today, in a handicap a class higher than today and was the first time he had raced at Wolverhampton. I always like the horse’s sired by Raven’s Pass on the all-weather as Raven Pass had proven ability on synthetic surfaces having won the Breeders Cup Classic.
