New York Rangers to beat Philadelphia Flyers 01:00
New York let us down last night slumping to a poor 4-1 home defeat against the struggling Buffalo Sabres. Their coach was quite scathing after the game and they will be looking to bounce back tonight. The positive from the game last night was they did have more shots on target than the Sabres, conceding the four goals from just 19 shots. Philadelphia are in a mini slump just now with a 1-4-2 record after winning ten straight. New York won in Philadelphia earlier in the season 3-2.
Calgary Flames -1.5 v Colorado Avalanche 03:00
Calgary will look to continue their strong home record against the struggling Colorado Avalanche. Colorado have lost four straight and nine of their last ten games, including a 6-3 home defeat to Calgary on Dec 27th.
Vancouver Canucks -1.5 v Arizona Coyotes 03:00
Vancouver have won four straight to move themselves to the fringes of the playoff race. Arizona meanwhile have lost seven in a row, five of them by two or more goals. The two teams have met twice this season with Vancouver winning both times, 3-2 and more recently 4-1.

9.15 Harlow – BEAMING JESTIC – T2
- 4 Points win @ 11/4
Beaming Jestic was a huge eye-catcher last week and looks a lively runner here.
The key to the race will be the break, beat T1 to the first corner and it’s race on for this tight railer.
Turn level or within a length or two and Beaming Jestic can use his middle pace to hit the front by the fifth bend.
Take the current price, that looks decent value.

2.55 Newbury, Brandon Hill
- 2pt win @ 11/2 with Bet365, William Hill, Betfair SB
Brandon Hill is three wins from four for trainer Tom Lacey and looks to be on the upgrade. His only defeat for the trainer was on his first run for almost two years and over an inadequate two miles and four furlongs last November at Uttoxeter. He won last time out over three miles at Warwick in December when ridden by today’s jockey, the in-form Noel Fehily, who is also two wins from five rides for the stable for a 14 points level stakes profit. Brandon Hill is three wins from three over distances, two miles seven furlongs and above over both today’s fences and over hurdles. In addition, he is also three wins from five on today’s soft going.

- Nietzsche 3 Points win @ 7/4 (Bet365, Paddy Power, Betfair Sportsbook)
Nietzsche is 2 from 2 at Catterick and, after winning his final flat-start off 81, he should be capable of winning off higher marks over jumps than his current 122 – which he’s unpenalized for winning off last time. That flat-race was also over 13-furlongs, which suggests he should cope well with this slight step-up in trip to 19-furlongs over jumps, and flat, speedy-natured tracks seem to suit him best. He also only has to carry 10-0 here.
